A Chartered Accountant by qualification, began her career in the banking and IT sectors before venturing into her first entrepreneurial pursuit in 2009—an experience that became a powerful learning ground. She later joined her family’s manufacturing business, where she played a key role in driving growth and shaping a brand that achieved remarkable success. Even while leading the business, Ritu’s creativity kept her constantly thinking about design. Whenever she came across fabrics or styles, she found herself imagining what could be created for children, drawing from her own experiences as a mother. By the end of 2024, she decided to take a new leap—driven by her passion, creativity, and motherhood—to build Flowers in My Closet, a brand she truly believes in and enjoys shaping every day
